Statewide Sponsorship Opportunity:
We are excited to announce Nebraska Statewide Sponsorship opportunities for the Nebraska Junior High Rodeo Association. These opportunities allow a person, business, family, etc the ability to support Junior High Rodeo throughout Nebraska and throughout the year. There are a variety of Sponsorship Levels available. All money raised will be used to promote the sport of Rodeo in Nebraska and expand our State Finals. Please share with anyone you feel may be interested. Raffle Tickets and Sponsorship: Raffle- Due December 5, 2023 Raffle #1: 22" Blackstone griddle with stand + $150 grilling accessory package Drawing held December 15th, 2023. Raffle #2: 100 lbs ground beef + $100 Amazon gift card Drawing held January 15th, 2024. Each contestant needs to sell 10 tickets of each raffle (20 tickets total). If you would like more, please let Lorna know. If you do not sell the required tickets or get them in, you will be required to pay $100 to rodeo in the spring. Ticket stubs and money need to be sent to Lorna by December 5th. Please mail ticket stubs and money to: Lorna Lawton 44436 Road 759 Overton, NE 68863 Sponsorship- Due January 1, 2024 Each contestant is required to get one $50 (minimum) Ad sponsorship. Please fill out the Ad Form and send to Lorna. Student Athlete of the Month: The program rewards one girl and one boy each month with a Professional’s Choice Air Ride Saddle Pad and qualifies each monthly winner for two $1,000 scholarships (one boys and one girls) to be awarded at the end of the rodeo season. To be eligible for the honor, students must submit an application to the NHSRA national office in Denver. The application includes questions about the extracurricular activities, volunteerism and goals of each applicant. Winners are featured each month in the NHSRA Times, featured on The Cowboy Channel, and awarded a Professional’s Choice Air Ride Pad. Each monthly winner will then be entered to win a $1,000 champion or $500 reserve champion scholarship at Nationals. Equine Athlete of the Month: The program honors and recognizes the horse of one girl and one boy each month. To be eligible for the honor, students must submit an application to the NHSRA national office in Denver. Horses do NOT need to be registered in order to qualify for this program. Winners are featured each month in the NHSRA Times, featured on The Cowboy Channel, and awarded a Professional’s Choice Air Ride Pad. Each monthly winner will then be entered to win a $1,000 champion or $500 reserve champion scholarship at Nationals. AQHA Horse of the Year: Nomination form is available on your membership profile. INDUSTRY STANDARD HELMETS ARE A REQUIREMENT FOR THE BULL RIDING AND STEER RIDING EVENTS ON THE HIGH SCHOOL AND JUNIOR HIGH LEVEL. |
